Dead fish at Folly Beach

by Earthbound

Dead fish on SC Beach (also submitted to the blog)

Well, has the die off come to SC? Thousands of dead fish, menhaden, have washed up on Folly Beach, in Charleston County. The official explanantion is that it's only due to the cold. Really?

I have lived there, and seen colder weather than this without fish dying. Yea, sure there are sometimes dead fish and other sea creatures on the beach, so what! The official story is not believable, especially in the national and worldwide context of events occurring now.
Here's one source:

Also aired on WSPA-TV

Any first hand experience/reports of our coastal members would be appreciated.

Posted by Earthbound

Why do coins have the word "liberty" on them?

Taken from ATLIBERTYTOSAY.COM

To put the word "LIBERTY" onto coins was written into the Coinage Act of 1792 and has never been modified

From The Coinage Act:

One side was to have an impression emblematic of liberty, with the inscription "LIBERTY" and the year of the coinage.

The reverse side of each of the gold and silver coins was to have the figure or representation of an eagle with the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."

Technically, the new Presidential Dollars are not legal tender because : To follow this story click on the following link then click on "Why do coins have the word "liberty" on them?":
